NECKLIFT - PLATYSMAPLASTY
|
Sagging neck skin can be a dead give away as to how old you really are…even if your face is smooth & wrinkle free.
|
|
Relaxed neck muscles and sagging skin are part of normal aging, lifestyle, weight loss, weight gain and the downward pull of gravity. Excess skin, muscle and fat that pooches out under the chin shows up as “turkey waddle.” A youthful face is accentuated by a youthful neckline while loose hanging skin, excess fat and jowls dramatically highlight an aging face.
BENEFITS OF NECKLIFT / PLATYSMAPLASTY
• Necklift corrects sagging skin & muscles in the aging neck
• It is often done in combination with neck liposuction to eliminate a “double chin”
• Necklift surgery restores more youthful neck definition and contour in men & women
• When combined with a facelift…the most dramatic results are achieved
• Dr. Bloom employs today’s less invasive, more advanced, refined techniques
• Necklift and facelift techniques can take 10 years off your face...you always look younger!
IS NECKLIFT SURGERY RIGHT FOR YOU?

NECKLIFT SURGERY / PLATYSMAPLASTY
Using refined microscopic instruments, Dr. Bloom will work through tiny incisions under your chin to manipulate the platysma muscle and restore it to a more youthful position. Through tiny incisions behind the ears, he will remove loose hanging skin and then lift and suture secure the rest of the neck muscle into its proper place. Excess fat will be liposuctioned to restore contour and definition to the chin and neck. A compression bandage is usually worn for about 1 week while healing takes place.
